Chuck Wichert is a U.S Air Force veteran of over 10 years of service where he served as an Air Traffic Controller and served in direct support of major operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, South Korea and Afghanistan! Today, Chuck is still an Air Traffic Controller in the Federal Government while being heavily involved in the MMA industry.
Chuck began in the MMA business industry in 2004 as owner of the Alaska Fighting Championship; an MMA promotion he owned and operated with partners while serving active duty in the U.S Air Force while stationed in Alaska. While attending Roy Englebrecht’s Fight Promoter University in Irvine, CA in 2006, that’s when he met Joe Cavallaro, a well-known MMA Athlete Manager. After establishing a friendship and learning from Joe, Chuck established an interest in managing fighters also! It was at that point that this became a true passion for him. Chuck said, “from being a promoter and hearing some of the stories out there, I knew this was a corrupt business full of people just out there for themselves, taking advantage of fighters and lacking honesty. I want to bring integrity back to the sport and be there for the fighters giving them management they can trust.” Chuck took his first fighter to the UFC within just 3 months of getting into fighter management.
After establishing his first MMA management company in early 2007, Chuck took his first ever signed fighter, Doug Evans to the UFC where he made his debut June 23, 2007 vs. Roger Huerta LIVE on Spike TV. In late 2007, Chuck made a decision to leave the US Air Force for the Federal Aviation Administration. It was then that Chuck had to sell the Alaska Fighting Championship, however continued to manage fighters where he picked up UFC talents such as Thiago Alves, Marcus Aurelio, Justin Buchholz and more.

Chuck took a brief hiatus from MMA management after moving to Dubai. It wasn’t long after that when he received a phone call from good friend, Charles Ruocco from mmacanada.net. It was then that Chuck was introduced to an undefeated fighter out of Regina, Saskatchewan named Mitch Clarke. Within a few months of entrusting Chuck with his MMA career, Mitch would find himself on the UFC roster! This reunited Chuck with the passion of managing fighters and leading them to smart decisions and ultimately their dream.
Today, Chuck continues to represent fighters under the new "MMA United Sports Entertainment" and still remains true to those values of honesty and integrity - to say the least. Chuck represents his fighters with the best intentions; those of his fighters in mind wishing for them to succeed personally and professionally. Currently, MMA United SE represents fighters of various weight classes both male and female in top organizations and future stars.
